No Time to Talk and British Fever

Sometimes, the most irritating thing about living in Italy is (other than, of course, the language barrier) the time zone. Most of the time, I can't online chat with my friends of our email accounts because I'm 6 hours ahead of theme. Making it hard to find a time when we're both on, except sometimes on the weekends. Unfortunately, my friends, unlike myself, don't stick to their laptops/computers all the time. (or so I've heard) Most of them don't come on a lot on the weekends. + They get out of school earlier than me by like 2 hours!!! So not fair! And another thing, they give homework on the weekend, and not (usually) on weekdays. That's just wrong. But, and yes I dare to say but, there's always a bright side. Literally. Ask me anything, and I'll find a bright side. Not that I'm really that optimistic. Anyway, I get to make new friends, meet foreign people, eat new foods, and best of all, in March, I'M GOING TO ENGLAND!!!! No, seriously! Not London, sadly, but this little town in Dudley. It's called Stourbridge. I think. See, my school has a partner in Stourbridge, called Hamdingles. Odd, I know right? Plus, listen to this, it's on Old Ham Road. It's almost too much. But I don't care, I'm going to England for a week with some of my class and some of the other 5th grade class. Yeah, I said "some". That's because see, we can't take everyone (because I guess we can't take everyone!) so we had this sort of lottery, well, not really. The teacher just handed out the forms to select people, alright? And I'm in! +does happy dance+ o(^.^)o (o^) o( )o (^o) o(^.^)o(dances in a circle) Most of my friends are in too, so I'm happy. Unfortunately, people that... let's just put it at people I don't like, are coming too. We're going to ride an airplane, and stay for a week. Everyone gets a partner that they sit next to and share a room with (girls with girls and boys with boys, obviously), so I hope it's a girl I like. My best friend's coming, so hopefully..... Anyway, I don't want to jinx the trip already so I won't talk about luck. I found out a shocking.... thing this week. So remember how Ginevra was Valerio's girlfriend last year? I like him now. +screams+ I can't believe I just said that. Anyway, it's because, see Ginevra and Valerio's parents are like bff's, and they went to Germany together last year. (imagine, on the plane, the adults talking about i dunno, politics and stuff, and then Gini and Vale look at each other. "Hi." "Yo.") and Emanuele said that they were on a honeymoon. Which is, if you think about, really funny. But I'm getting off the topic. Well, now they hate each other. And I am sooo cool with that. Plus, my friend Cristina is in love with a boy she hated last month. What is up with this place? His name is Alessandro, and he has brown Justin Bieber hair, and a retainer that blurs his speech. He's funny, I'll give him that much. She loves him so much, that when he kicked her this one time, she sighed, and I was like, "What'chu sighing about?" and then she was all, swooning and said that he kicked her with love. Seriously? Is it already Valentine's day or something! Of course, that's around the time I started liking Valerio. (shudders) Not all the time, obviously. Not when he's being stupid or anything. It's just when he's talking/thinking/laughing/working he gets this sparkle in his blue eyes, and his laugh is so sweet! I told my friend (who still likes her ex!!!) and she nodded wisely.
"You're not an idiot. Valerio's a beautiful boy."
I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO THINK! AND I'M GOING TO ENGLAND!! WHOOOOO!!!!
