aah!!! betrayal!!!!

I am in shock. And disbelief. And mourning.
The Reason:
One of my best friends, Ginevra Bertamini, was Valerio's girlfriend for a week last year. How do I know this?
At Sanzio, Friday lunch is Gossip Day. This weeks topic was Crushes. I learned a lot of stuff, like when they were 7, Elia and Flavia kissed. But then the hurtful part happened. Turns out, Christina liked Valerio. She knows I like him, so she said, "In first grade, I liked Valerio. But now, bleh." I stared at the lunch table for a bit, then joined back in. Only to be blown back. Juliane told me that Valerio and Ginevra had been together for a week last year. I, hoping hard that she was lying, asked Valerio. He said, "Only at school!" And then Juliane said that they kissed! I said in a hollow voice, "Did you see them?" And she shook her head but said that she had heard them. And I didn't believe that part. But now, I feel like there is no purpose in my life. I should die. What's wrong with me?! He's just a guy. We're not even very good friends. Gah, I'm ashamed of myself, I think I'll stop now........

Hurrah, Paint, Aprons, and Tigers!!!

Fate has destined this day..... to be the day that Valerio comes back to school, healthy, full, and in one piece! Today's first lesson was English, and we usually do Gym on Friday, but these days it's way too cold, so we do Drama instead. It's usually done in either the English Classroom, (Rehearsing the plays) our classroom, (Writing the script, introducing a new story) or the Art Room. (Drawing and painting the sets) So we've already done 2 plays, but this was the first one that we actually had to write. We were given a book, and half an hour to read it, and the weekend to write a script. My group, (Valerio, Lorenzo, Bruno, Ginevra A., Chiara, Martina and me) got the hardest book, 'A Nice Walk in the Jungle.' The class and a teacher go on this nature walk, and this huge snake picks the kids off and eats them, one by one. The teacher doesn't notice until the very last child has been eaten, and then she punches the snake on the nose and ties him in a big knot around a tree. Yeah. So we just made one set, the jungle. We were finishing up painting it today. See there's this huge killer monkey in the middle, and me and Bruno call it Bob, and Valerio and Lorenzo call it Steve.

And Mrs. Elena said that we had to 'work in silence' so in other words, everybody whispered as much as possible. Me and Valerio helped painting with the main background, and then with the details. Valerio drew this amazing tiger, it was really good, and I helped paint it. I made its eyes green, even though Valerio wanted them blue, like his. I argued that tiger's don't have blue eyes, which they don't, I think. Then he splashed this huge black blob onto my apron. Resulting in me painting his eyebrows yellow. And then me getting a red streak in my hair. But anyway, it was awesome, and I became just that much closer to Valerio. :)

Banana's Got Talent

OK so see In my class today at recess we did another showing of Banana's Got Talent, and I was one of the three judges. There were some really really weird (and sometimes gross) routines, like Zohair and his imitation of Micheal Jackson's "Thriller" and the part were he grabs his peanut and jumps up and down, shudder just shudder. I of course voted no, but the other 2 girls that were the other judges, they were laughing on the ground and said yes. These girls from 5B did this dance they created with the song Straight Jacket (Brooklyn Hayley) and the other judges were like stony faced because Pier was like grinning and nodding at the girls and they were shooting jealous looks. Ugh. I voted yes, they were really in sinc, but more because I wanted to show that I really couldn't care less about what Pier thinks, and then there was Dante, who did break dancing and then Bruno (um... Polish and average looking) like upstaged him with these really sweet moves. We gave Dante 3 yes's anyway. And then Bruno did this comedy routine, and I was like No, because, Well, I felt bad for Dante, and then the other girls were hesitating, and I was like "Say no, Bruno's an idiot!", and they looked at Pier who was shooting death rays at Bruno, and they hurried and went No too. Then Bruno casually walked over to the judges table and did that slit throat thing at me, the one that means, "You're dead." I stuck my tongue out and he stepped behind my chair, put his arms around my neck, slowly so it looked like he was just laying his arms on my shoulders, and pretended to choke me. And then Pier gave Bruno The Look, the one that goes, "Ooh, I didn't know you two were together!" and the Bruno went to kick the guts out of Pier. You're probably wondering by it's called Banana's Got Talent and it's because of the Wakabanana Show that me and my friends are doing. Valerio's the director.

O.K. I'm admitting it, I'm kinda freaked right now. And so, I'm typing this post in the color red, my color of fear. And the reason for this post's song. See, this last Friday, Valerio wasn't looking so good. I thought it was just depression. Valerio doesn't like Fridays. It's because his dad works in Sicily so he only sees him two days a week. But this Monday, he didn't come to school. I just dismissed it as a simple cold, it's freezing where I'm living. On Tuesday, he came back to school, but his skin was like waxy. He kept puking so he went home during German. Today's Wednesday and he didn't come to school. I know I shouldn't be so freaked about this, I just can't help myself. Weird, huh? And I'm way to young for another thing. Still, that's like the worst thing I can say about this. Hate it when snooty older people say that. But anyway, I just wanted to write this down. Get it out of my head and everything. The other thing that's really ticking me off is all this snow! I mean, I know that it snows a lot here but this is insane! An entire week of nonstop snow!!! And when I say nonstop, I mean 24/7! And when I asked my friend if this was a little extreme. She said, no actually it's pretty normal. I shall scream. The last place I lived in was a little town a bit above Atlanta, Georgia. It was called Lawrencville. I least I think that's how to spell it. Always warm, hardly ever snows. I'm really going through a major shock. You know, everybody has different methods for calming down. Mine is listening to music. Like right now, I'm listening to Make it Shine by Victoria Justice. I love that song. Also, one of my other favorites is Beautiful by Kaleigh Jo Kirk. Very nice. It kinda explains how I feel. I'm listening to Tween Pop Radio, which I think I mentioned in an earlier post. Oh, now it's Baby by Justin Bieber and Ft. Ludacris. Baby baby baby oh, like baby baby baby no.... Ah, now this posts really off subject... why didn't I just switch back to green? Oh well, a little late now but yeah. Bye!

Cats do not change light bulbs. People change light bulbs. So, the real question is:
	'How long will it be before I can expect some light, some dinner, and a massage?'
ALL OF WHICH PROVES, ONCE AGAIN, THAT WHILE DOGS HAVE MASTERS, CATS HAVE STAFF!
